Education Qualification:-
- Postman :- Matriculation from any recognized board.
- Mail Guard:- Matriculation or Equivalent from a recognized board or university
- Time Scale Driver:- Should have a valid driving licence for light and heavy motor vehicle, atleast 4 year of driving experience on both light and heavy vehicle, Desirable-Middle Standard Pass
- Welder/Painter :- Should have a certificate (ITI) in the respective Trade from any Technical Institution recognized by the Government or VIII pass with one year experience
- Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant:- Should be 10+2 or 12th class pass from recognized university or board with English as compulsory subject and should have studied local language of the state or union territory of Tamil Nadu Postal Circle or Hindi as subject at least in Matriculation or equivalent
- Multi Tasking Staff:- A pass in Matriculation or ITI from a recognized Board.
Tamil Nadu Postal Circle Recruitment Application fee:-
- For Mail Guard and Post Man:- Rs 100 mandatory for all the applicants who have registered where of any category .
- For Multi Tasking,Postal Assistant:- Rs 100 in any of the computerised post office in tamil Nadu Postal Circle through e-payment Specifying Direct Recruitment of PA/SA/PM/MTS under sports quota and Division/Unit for which he/she is appying and submit original receipt along with the application.
- For Welding, Painter
Tamil Nadu Postal Circle Recruitment 2014 Age Limitation:-
- For Mail Guard and Postman:- The age should be between 18 to 27 with age relaxation as applicable according to the categories
- For Time Scale the age should be between 21 to 28 years, for Welder the age limit should be between 18 to 30 years and for Painter the age limit should be between 18 to 30 years of age.
- For MTS, Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant the age limit should be between 18 to 27 years as on 22nd September 2014. The relaxation is applicable according to the category .
